Art and artwork in specific is a very subjective liking. Not all would appreciate an artist’s work. Lina’s work is something which everyone truly appreciates. They are not just brush strokes. They convey deep thoughts of emotions and purpose. Her command in medium of expression on canvas, material pallet and colours is fantastic. Before you see her present artwork, your mind seeks to know what would be in store the next time..! I have one artwork of her which is of a deep thoughts of life going towards Nirvana…! Spiritual Art, I believe has to come from the heart and knowledge. I had been studying Hinduism and spirituality for the past few years in India. When I saw Lina’s work, I felt a connection. After a few meetings where I explained what I had in my mind and how I would want the final output to be and after being convinced, that she too has a good understanding of the subject, I commissioned her for 2 of my favourite avatar of the Supreme Deity – Maa Mahalaxmi and Maa Kaali. To this day I haven’t truly ever been able to express how they both were done so-so beautifully, immaculately, beyond my imagination! She even shipped them with utmost care to my house in Jamaica. Great Art work. Lina is very creative and hard working. She makes sure she delivers what is expected and even more. I met her at a group show and was blown away with a beautiful artwork of Buddha, but I wanted it in a bigger size.
